Living in the 21st century with everything modern and technological, we are so used to materialistic items and having the best silver dinning sets or the newest fashion trends. Yes your wedding is a good reason to spend your money on exactly what you want, but with the change in season why not consider cutting back on hanging chandeliers, big gesture’s and take a step back and utilize the season by creating beautiful earthy centerpieces and backdrops.

Creative centrepieces

Centerpieces are one of the most noticed pieces of décor at any wedding, as they are literally the centre of attention for seated guests. Having centerpieces is much more than décor,  they help by displaying table names or table numbers. If you want a simple wedding then centerpiece are great way to add extra warmth and give character to your reception. Why not think out of the box with this one and create your own centerpieces that don’t only consist of flowers, but rustic, chic materials and objects that will more than catch your guest’s attention.

Alternative accessories

If you love autumn but want a destination wedding, this should not stop your seasonal wedding from happening. This is where I explain the very reason why you should utilize accessories.  Your wedding accessories are key, why not have autumn leaves, real or alternatively handmade to create a rustic feel. Even on a hot Island like Malta if you accessorize it will bring to life your wedding and create that autumn feel for yourselves and your guests. Why not decorate the aisle with leaves instead of petals or if you are  a daring couple why not incoporate a bit of a Halloween theme into your accessories.
