Dear Sarah,

We’re writing to say a big thank you to you and Lisa for arranging our wedding and being our witnesses on the day. You created a fabulous day for us that we’ll remember forever.

From my first enquiry, to us leaving Malta as husband and wife, you made our day perfect. You convinced us that our small intimate wedding with just us and our two sons there would work.  I was worried that the venue at Palazzo would be too big, but it was fantastic.  The best wedding venue we could imagine.

Please pass on our thanks to all of the following people for making our day;

To Lisa, thank you for your help and work in the run up to the wedding and for the morning you drove us to Valetta to the registrar’s office, the Palazzo, and to hair and make up.  You made the morning such fun. Thank you also for being one of our witnesses and guiding us smoothly through the day.

To the staff at the Palazzo thank you for suggesting the seating arrangements at the ceremony, it worked well. The ballroom was truly breathtaking and the gardens so beautiful it made our wedding photographs fantastic. The setting on the balcony for the champagne, canapés and cake cutting was perfect and the staff that served us there were so courteous. The cake looked great with the decorations I’d provided and was delicious (we’ll be eating it for a long time).

To the registrar, thank you for making the ceremony so personal and including our sons with the readings. Her cheeky sense of humour came through and she relaxed us throughout the proceedings.

To the drivers that took us to and from the ceremony in comfort, thank you for your patience and smooth journeys.

To the very talented guitarist, thank you for for playing our music so beautifully, it sounded perfect in the setting.

To the hairdresser, thank you for the amazing work you did on my long, thick, curly mop of hair. It looked so elegant and went perfectly with my style of dress. I didn’t want to go to bed that night as I knew my hair would never be the same again. You are so talented.

To the make-up artist for making me look beautiful with such natural looking make-up. I only ever wear a bit of mascara and lip gloss so was a bit nervous of how I would look with full make-up on. She was the perfect person to have with me in the last hour before the wedding she was so relaxing, a lovely, friendly lady.

To the florist, my bouquet was perfect, just what I wanted, together with the button holes, Sarah and Lisa’s corsages and the table decoration.

To the photographer, thank you so much for such a fantastic set of photographs. He gently and kindly guided us around the Palazzo and gave us a wonderful album to remember the day by. Thank you also for getting the photographs and disc to us before we came home.

To the videographer, thank you for doing such a marvelous job of capturing our day.  We made a last minute decision to have the day videoed and are so pleased that we did as our families have been able to get a true feel of the day.  We realise it won’t have been easy to film such a small group in a short amount of time but the end result was brilliant.  Thank you also for producing the DVD before we left the island.

To the staff at the restaurant in St Julian’s thank you for the warm welcome and delicious meal we had on the evening of our wedding. I had been worried about being in the restaurant with other diners in my wedding dress but I did feel very special there.  We had a lovely round of applause from the other diners as we left the restaurant, together with lots of shouts of congratulations.  A lovely way to end our special day.

Although we arranged our accommodation ourselves, we have to thank Richard for allowing us to stay at his fantastic villa with the use of his wonderful old car.  We spent the latter part of our wedding day in the gardens around the pool drinking champagne and taking our own photos.  Richard was a warm and friendly host that allowed us complete privacy throughout our stay there.

Thank you so much Sarah.

You, your team and suppliers are the best.
