When we think of a spring wedding, we think of garden weddings, bright flowers, pastels, great food and of course beautiful dresses. During this month I will discuss everything spring related.

Starting this week with the most popular spring attire trends for 2017, we will talk about the bridal gown, the bridesmaid’s dresses and not to forget about the groom and his groomsmen.

 

The Bridal Gown

The result of the bridal fashion week for spring 2017 is elegantly perfect for modern brides who likes to have a touch of romance in their dress while still looking sexy. It is the perfect combination to make a statement. Get ready to bare your shoulders; it obviously is a massive trend to follow! On the bridal runways, oversized bows grabbed the attention as a show-stopping back or a waist detail. The wedding dress with streamer sleeves is a gorgeous way to add movement to your gown.

 

 

Bridesmaid’s Dresses

When looking at the trends for the bridesmaid’s dresses we see one major trend, which is 50 shades of pink… From the lightest rose pink to the flashiest. The whole palette is allowed! Pink is definitely the colour of the bridesmaid’s dresses for this season. To make your bridesmaid’s attire a bit more fun and playful you can also decide to give your bridesmaids all a different shade of pink.

 

Spring look for the groom

Now we put our attention on the groom, who will accompany the most beautiful bride on their wedding day: his future wife. The suit for the groom is no less important than the bridal dress. There are not a lot of different shapes for a suit, that is why we are going to focus more on the colour. Nowadays the options for men are not limited to a black suit, even though they look good, for a wedding. With this season, we can afford to wear a neutral color, like beige or white, but if you prefer a darker suit, a dark blue suit is always good. Moreover, the grey suit is also a nice option for a spring wedding.

The groomsmen suits are often in the same colour palette of the groom. So, their suits will depend of the groom’s choice.

 

 

Buttonholes

Do not forget about the buttonhole, this detail is important for boys attire! The colour of buttonhole will match with the bridal bouquet and normally with the flower decoration of your wedding. For this spring season, blush, ivory, white and light pink buttonholes stand out clearly on a dark suit. On a neutral colour, you can use a flashier pink (wedding colours for spring 2017) orange, yellow or even red.
