This week we are giving your ideas on the extras which can be included to enhance your wedding day and make it unforgettable.

With 1,000 weddings under our belt over two decades of experience, we have seen and supplied it all…. Let’s go through some of the standard extras to think about and favourites which have been memorable for many of our clients to help you think outside the box and make your wedding distinctive.

We have the usual services to think about which are always very important for your special day…. These include your photographer who keeps your memories alive as a keepsake forever, your hair & make up professionals who make you look at your very best for the whole day and beyond. Never forget your transport, without the bride & groom present there would be no wedding! Floral and your cake are always essential, bouquets, buttonholes and a sweet, delicious treat which brings everyone together toasting the happy couple. Last but not least, your music for the ceremony, stand up reception and party.

So, now we have been through the usual services, here are some extra ideas which you may not have thought about….

Photobooth

It’s the evening, you have enjoyed your first dance, drinks are flowing, and everyone is having lots of fun, an extra here can be a photobooth for a couple of hours, it definitely breaks the ice and gives an element of fun and also priceless memories of your wedding party.

Fireworks

Surprise your guests with a firework spectacle during your wedding celebration. An option is a colourful, live pyrotechnic display that adds a truly memorable element to your special day, with different packages offered, daytime or evening displays are possible and always brings an extra ooh & ahh to the celebrations.

Videography

Imagine a bespoke film to capture your special day to be kept forever and shared with any loved one who wasn’t able to celebrate your wedding with you in person. This film tells your story allowing you to re-live all the beautiful emotions from this day.

A videographer prioritises key moments such as the bride’s walk down the aisle and the vows since these are some of the most sentimental moments from the day. The rest of the ceremony is also captured in order to give the flexibility of choosing what goes into the final edit based on the creative process. Throughout the rest of the day, the focus is on key moments such as the speeches, cutting of the cake and your first dance depending on how many hours you would want your service for, complete flexibility to show as much or as little as you would like, you decide. Depending on your chosen venue and permits permitting, a drone can also be used to capture parts of your special day from a birds-eye view!

Children’s entertainment

Keep the children at your wedding entertained with a few hours of entertainment aimed solely for them to enable their parents to enjoy some mingling and bar time.

If you have an outdoor venue a bouncy is always a winner, also giant games such as twister and snakes & ladders brings fun for everyone, not just the kids. For babies and toddlers, a soft play area is a nice touch to keep their fussing at bay, balloon modelling and an animator helps and makes sure the children are engaged, or maybe a magician to keep the youngsters smiling. Pre-Post wedding celebrations

Why stick to one day’s worth of celebrations when you can extend it and enjoy even more time with your loved ones. Perhaps a pre or post wedding get-together drink or casual BBQ, this can be arranged and all you have to do is show up and enjoy. Or, you can go all out and have a day cruise to top up your tan and see the sights from the sea rather than land. Imagine enjoying a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear sea, snorkelling around the rugged coastline or a lazy sunbathe on the boat’s spacious decks before a delicious lunch with wine and water.
